A Patient Advocate called me, Paty, whom I did not know yet, asking me for some exams that I did not yet have, she guided me in everything, she treated my case as if it were her case. Then the people from CSF referred me to the specialist who treated me. The doctor spoke my language and could explain everything to me and carefully followed my case.
After the doctor performed my surgery, he also called my family. At the hospital I was assigned a very caring nurse who made sure that at home I had everything to rest. Thanks to Lisbeth, my CSF Patient Advocate, who called me after my surgery to see how I was doing.
It’s sad, but many people don’t get care because they don’t have health insurance and the truth is, I didn’t know about CSF Surgery, I had only heard about it from an acquaintance who also had surgery there.
It started with stomach pains whenever I woke up in the mornings. I like to run, but every time I would start to run, I got the urgent feeling of already wanting to urinate, and that was constant. He operated me at the Memorial Hospital, a very good hospital from the beginning until I left, it was excellent, the staff very friendly.
