In February, I went to the emergency room due to very strong pain in the abdomen, it was from a hernia.
I was hospitalized for a week in a Las Vegas hospital where they did many tests and put me on medication for pain and inflammation, but they did not operate me because the hernia had not burst, so they discharged me after a week, and I was sent to see a specialist at a clinic called Volunteers in Medicine in Las Vegas.
The doctor was honest and told me that, there, they were not going to want to operate on me due to lack of health insurance, but that there was an organization in California called CSF Surgery. I had heard of them before, but I had not decided, now with the doctor’s recommendation I called them and made my appointment with the specialist. The person who treated me was very kind, I paid $120.00, and it was very cheap because it is not easy to find a specialist to treat you without health insurance.
The doctor saw me, and I really did need surgery. I had investigated and it was going to cost me between $16,000.00 to $23,000.00 that honestly, I did not have in hand. Thanks to CSF Surgery I paid less than 20% and I am very grateful that they already did the surgery and thank God I feel very well. I no longer have all that pain, discomfort and inflammation that the hernia caused me, I couldn’t even eat anymore because it immediately swelled, I was exactly like this for almost four years, very badly and all that time there was nowhere where they could help me, thanks to the doctor from the volunteer clinic in Las Vegas, who referred me to CSF, now I have solved the health problem that I had and that had even left me motionless. Now I am in recovery and making sure not to lift anything heavy while I recover and resume my life.
I am very grateful to everyone, the treatment at the hospital, Adventist in Bakersfield, was great, the nurses very kind, as well as Dr. Irani, very kind, everyone is aware that everything is under control and when you leave the surgery, they as well treat you excellently. I feel very grateful with CSF Surgery, the treatment was wonderful from all of you.
Unfortunately, before arriving at CSF, I had fallen into emergencies for a week, and I was only left with the debts. The charges came to me for $3,000.00, another $4,000.00 and the ambulance bill for $1,100.00 more, I am still making my payment arrangements.
